Terms & Conditions
6 hours Classroom
- Students must be at least 16 years of age to enroll in the SGI 6 & 6 Driving Course, 6-hour online class, or 6 hours of in-car training.
- Students must hold a valid Saskatchewan Learner’s Licence or Saskatchewan ID to participate in any class or training session.
- All fees must be paid in advance before beginning any portion of the 6 & 6 training, 6-hour online class, or 6-hour in-car driving training.
- Participants should have a basic understanding of the English language, as classroom instruction is primarily conducted in English.
- If instruction is required in another language, students must contact Aim Driving School at 306-880-8043 prior to registration.
- Once payment has been received for the 6 & 6 course or 6-hour in-car training, a $80 administrative fee will be deducted if a refund is requested before the course begins.
- No refunds will be issued after the course or lessons have started.
- For the 6-hour online class only, a $20 administrative fee will be deducted before refunding the remaining balance.
- If an online class is missed, students must make up the missed session in a future scheduled 6-hour online class.
- Aim Driving School will provide students with the schedule of upcoming classes for make-up sessions.
- There is no additional payment required for missed sessions; however, to receive SGI certification, students must complete all classroom and in-car training requirements within one year.
In-Car Lessons
- Students may need to visit Saskatoon to complete their driving lessons if they reside outside Saskatoon.
- A maximum of 2 hours of driving lessons can be provided per day according to SGI policy.
- No other passengers are allowed in the car during the lesson unless authorized by the instructor.
- The training school provides a car for driving lessons.
- Free pickup and drop-off are available within the city limits.
- The instructor’s car is equipped with dual brakes for the safety of students and others.
- Students will be charged a cancellation fee if they cancel or reschedule an in-car lesson without giving a minimum of 48 hours’ notice before the start of the driving lesson:
- Late cancellation fee: $80
- No-show fee: $80
- Missed in-car lessons will not be rescheduled until the outstanding balance is paid.
- Students must always bring their Saskatchewan Learner’s Licence or Saskatchewan ID with their International Licence during in-car sessions.
- Students must abide by all traffic laws while operating the vehicle and are responsible for paying any fines incurred due to traffic violations.
- Students are also responsible for paying any traffic violations caught on traffic cameras while operating the vehicle.
- In the event of any incident or accident for which the student is at fault, or any event that causes damage to the vehicle while being operated by the student, the student must:
- Assume full responsibility, and
- Pay the SGI insurance deductible, as well as any other costs incurred by the owner related to the incident, including but not limited to:
Instructor Cancellations
- Your driving instructor will get in touch with you if Aim Driving School has to reschedule an in-car lesson. In this case, You will not be charged a fee. We will compensate you with $40, as we greatly value your time.
